Q:Write about an accomplishme-nt |
My accomplishment right now outside of school is to do well in a national tournament for tennis such as, one of the tournaments coming up in November at Seattle. I need to work hard during everyday's 2 hour tennis practice and improve on being consistent just like the other 3 player's who are top level in the Pacific Northwest. I think doing tons of homework everyday at 9:00 is pretty hard to time manage because I get back home at 8:45 on a daily basis from 7th grade. My external goal up until high school is to do well in both tennis and educational work to go into a high-level college coming up sooner than you will expect it to be. The success I had in the past was winning many tournaments and getting a good grade on a big science test.

I think the election for 2016's new president is a very easy situation to pick between Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump. My first thought about listening to Donald Trump's debate is that, he only talks about Hilary's bad things and saying that he will build a wall between America and Mexico even though the Mexican's have to pay for the construction instead of our country. Donald Trump said he will get rid of ISIS when he becomes president for 2016, anyways, a lot of people disagree to everything Trump states in all of his speeches. My thoughts on Hilary Clinton is that she lies on most of her speeches and is trying to sound formal than Donald Trump. I personally don't get why citizens of the United States would believe Donald Trump will change our country in 4 years of presidency.

Costa´s House of Question Part 2 |
Story: The ocean breeze flying through the air, the little waves brushing up the soft sand, the palm trees waving at us with its branches… The clear light blue sky matching the clearness of the ocean. The ocean was as clear as regular water! We decided to jump into the ocean and, it was like being in a hot tub! The temperature of Grand Cayman was hot as being on a frying pan on the sand! Our feet were burning at the end, and a lot of sunburns, but it was worth the experience to stay at a beautiful hotel that has a landscape of the ocean we were just playing in.
When the sunsets in the afternoon, it is the best site to take pictures for all social medias! The one day at Grand Cayman was fun, but we didn’t have enough time to explore more on the ocean. The next day we decided to find another paradise island full of places to explore and find new landscapes to enjoy for anyone! |
Allegory
Allegory Definition: It is a story or poem that reveals a hidden message, technically a analogy or key message of the book. For example, the Tortoise and the Hare was an example of a clear allegory. The allegory was if you underestimate your opponent like the Hare, you will end up losing to anything. The tortoise never gave up and kept on going even when the Hare was sleeping. The author wanted to deliver the message of not judging people even when they are not as good as you.
